So far, I have found LOTF really interesting. I knew I was going to like it because my Dad told me it was a really good book. I really like the amount of effort that the author put in each and every word. Even when you don't think a phrase or a word is important, it means something in the big picture. I enjoy the symbolism it has with the bible. Lately, the author has connected the book with the bible. It's funny because when someone in my class said that it related to the garden of Eve, I looked back and thought that it sure did.
My favorite character in LOTF is defiantly Ralph. He reminds me of people I know. He shows leadership, curiosity, and best of all, he gets annoyed with the little kids. Also, Ralph kind of does his own thing, he doesn't follow others. I really admire that characteristic. I honestly cannot wait to read more and discover more of Ralph adorable traits.
I would definitely agree that it's a very interestingly written book, especially with the symbolism. I really enjoy reading it as a class when we look at how even seemingly simply descriptive words such as "fair" mean so much more than they appear to. I hope it lives up to your expectations.
