Dachau

I'm doing my research on the concentration camp, Dachau. It was the first of the Nazi concentration camps to open in Germany. In the beginning, it was intended to hold political prisoners, but as the years went by they accepted much more  kinds of prisoners. I feel like we should care about my topic because when people talk about what happened at concentration camps, they don't really care because it didn't happen to them. I'm trying to express to people that this matter has affected and changed the rest of our lives for ever, even if people don't know it.

This week, I am looking forward to getting some make-up research in. I look forward to correct my bibs, and over looking them because I know I need to change at least 2-3. Also, I am looking forward to building up more information about my thesis questions, and looking at Ms. Baggett's comments on course sites.

  1. I've been to the Holocaust museum in Washington D.C. and I agree. People from our generation don't fully understand how terrible things were during that time. I know this because I saw a ton of other people in that museum who started bawling because the things they were learning overwhelmed them.

  2. Sophie we have very similar topics, mine is the concentration camp Buchenwald. I agree with you that a lot of people don't believe in it and stuff. I think we could compare our projects and see how they turn out.
